The leaderboards would be meaningless even if the game was released on the same day everywhere.

1. The Crysis 2 leaderboards simply go on who has the most of XYZ. This basically translates into who plays the most and its also the reason the same people will be at the top of most leaderboards at once.

2. You can progress on leaderboards while choosing your own opponents, playing in pre-mades vs randoms, hopping servers until you find bad low ranked players or avoiding good players and so on.

If you take the leaderboards seriously in Crysis 2 you are simply idiotic.

i have to point out that most data on leatherboards have nothing to do with how long you play

most people are fascinates with K/D ratio and such , and not archived XP

you can easy catch up in a week if you play 16 hours a day, and many actually do that, so XP is the least important data on any leatherboard

Crysis 2 leaderboards rank you on how much EXP, Kills, Wins, etc you have.

Someone with 100 kills 200 deaths would be ranked higher than someone with 99 kills and 20 deaths. Any average player putting 12 hours a day into this game can get near the top of the leaderboards but obviously they wont pass the hackers.
