Do you love The Elder Scrolls? Are you passionate about the lore of Tamriel? Do you have a way with words that rivals the best bards in Solitude?

Starting today, August 20, 2012, you can enter our Legendary Limerick Contest for a chance to win an awesome prize package. The contest runs through Friday, August 31, 2012, and will test your wit, creativity, and lore knowledge!

In order to enter, you must create a limerick about Elder Scrolls lore. Your entry could be inspired by anything from fighting evil necromancers to running into a dog named Barbas. There is a limit of one (1) entry per person.

We will read through all submissions and judge them based on their humor, lore, and rhyming scheme. (3) winners and one (1) honorable mention will be selected from all entries and announced on Friday, September 7, 2012.

The winners will be able to choose a concept art selection, from a pre-determined collection, to be canvased and signed and a The Elder Scrolls Online t-shirt. The honorable mention will receive an awesome The Elder Scrolls Online t-shirt. In addition, the winning limericks and honorable mention will be posted on our Facebook page, http://facebook.com/elderscrollsonline.

To enter, send an email to community@elderscrollsonline.com with the subject line “Legendary Limerick Contest.” The email submission must include your name, valid mailing address, and email address. Along with your contact information, be sure to include your original, self-created limerick.

Contest Details

Dates and Times
The Legendary Limerick Contest begins on Monday, August 20, 2012 and ends on Friday, August 31, 2012.

Eligibility

To be eligible to enter the Legendary Limerick contest, you must be 18 or older at the time of entry, must possess a valid form of identification, and a legal resident of (i) one of the fifty United States (or the District of Columbia) and excluding the territories, military installations and commonwealths; or (ii) the member countries of the European Union), to enter and verification may be required before a winner is announced.

How to Enter

Send an email to community@elderscrollsonline.com with "Legendary Limerick Contest" in the subject line. The email submission must include your name, valid mailing address, and email address. Along with your contact information, share with us your original self-created limerick inspired by Elder Scrolls lore. All entries must be received by 11:59 pm EST on Friday, August 31, 2012. We’ll provide a list of winners and highlight their limericks on our Facebook page on Friday, September 7, 2012.

Winner and Prize Info

We will select a total of three (3) winners and one (1) honorable mention.

Each winner will receive a prize package, worth approximately $100.00 USD total. The honorable mention will receive a prize package, worth approximately $20.00 USD total.

The winner’s prize packs include:

One (1) The Elder Scrolls Online canvassed concept art piece signed by the artist; and one (1) The Elder Scrolls Online t-shirt.

Ab heute, 20. August 2012 k?nnt ihr bei unserem Legend?ren Limerick-Wettbewerb mitmachen und vielleicht ein tolles Preispaket gewinnen. Der Wettbewerb l?uft bis Samstag, dem 1. September 2012, und erfordert Geist, Kreativit?t und Kenntnis der Sagenwelt!

Um teilzunehmen müsst ihr einen Limerick über die Elder Scrolls-Sagenwelt dichten. Ihr k?nnt euch dabei von allem m?glichen inspirieren lassen, von k?mpfenden b?sen Nekromanten, bis hin zu der Begegnung mit dem Hund Barbas. Jede Person darf nur einen (1) Beitrag einreichen.

Wir werden alle Beitr?ge lesen und sie in Bezug auf Humor, Geschichtskenntnis und Reimschema bewerten. Aus allen Einsendungen werden drei (3) Gewinner und ein (1) Gewinner des Sonderpreises ausgew?hlt und am Freitag, 7. September 2012 bekanntgegeben.

Die Gewinner erhalten jeweils ein Concept Art-Kunstwerk ihrer Wahl auf Leinwand mit den Autogrammen des Künstlerteams, sowie ein Elder Scrolls Online T-Shirt. Der Gewinner des Sonderpreises erh?lt ebenfalls ein tolles Elder Scrolls Online T-Shirt. Dies wird unter Umst?nden vor der Bekanntgabe eines Gewinners überprüft.

à partir d'aujourd'hui, le 20 ao?t 2012, vous pouvez participer à notre Concours de poèmes légendaires pour avoir une chance de remporter un superbe lot de prix. Le concours durera jusqu'au vendredi 31 ao?t 2012 et mettra à l'épreuve votre intelligence, votre créativité et vos connaissances des légendes !

Pour participer, il vous faut rédiger un poème à propos de l'histoire d'Elder Scrolls. Votre poème peut puiser son inspiration dans toutes sortes de choses, que ce soit le combat contre les maléfiques nécromanciens ou bien l'histoire d'un chien nommé Barbas. Le nombre de participation est limité à une (1) par personne.

Nous lirons toutes les contributions et les jugerons en fonction de leur humour, de leur histoire et de leur schéma rythmique. Nous sélectionnerons trois (3) gagnants et une (1) mention honorable parmi toutes les participations et nous annoncerons les résultats le vendredi 7 septembre 2012.

Les gagnants recevront chacun un dessin de concept sur toile de son choix, signé par l'équipe de conception graphique, et un t-shirt Elder Scrolls Online. La mention honorable recevra un superbe un t-shirt Elder Scrolls Online. De plus, les poèmes gagnants et la mention honorable seront publiés sur notre page Facebook, http://facebook.com/elderscrollsonline.

Admission
Pour pouvoir participer au Concours de poème légendaire, vous devez être agé de 18 ans et plus au moment de votre participation, posséder une pièce d'identité valide et être résident légal de (i) un des cinquante états des états-Unis (ou du District de Columbia) à l'exception des territoires, installations militaires et Commonwealth; ou (ii) un des pays membres de l'Union Européenne, une vérification pouvant être effectuée avant l'annonce du gagnant.

Comment participer

Envoyez un courrier électronique à community@elderscrollsonline.com avec pour sujet "Concours de poèmes légendaires". Ce courrier électronique doit contenir votre nom, votre adresse postale valide et votre adresse e-mail. En plus de vos coordonnées, faites-nous part du poème que vous avez créé en vous inspirant de l'histoire d'Elder Scrolls. Toutes les participations devront être réceptionnées au plus tard à 23:59 HNE le vendredi 31 ao?t 2012, soit 05:00 GMT+1, heure fran?aise, le 1er Septembre 2012. Nous publierons une liste des gagnants et afficheront leurs poèmes sur notre page Facebook le vendredi 7 septembre 2012.

Informations sur les gagnants et les prix

Nous sélectionnerons un total de trois (3) gagnants et une (1) mention honorable.

Chaque gagnant recevra un lot de prix d'une valeur approximative de 100,00 $ au total. La mention honorable recevra un prix d'une valeur approximative de 20,00 $ au total.

Poor Fhyn! I can feel with you! Many, many times I couldn't partake in sweepstakes and contests like this one.

But it's a great contest idea, nonetheless! And this time I am lucky enough to be allowed to enter. Thought whole day about an at least half decent Limerick, and have just submitted with what I came up with. Hopefully it will suffice, but I'm in for the fun! By the way, would it be too much of a hassle to post all submissions here on the boards after the contest ends? I'd love to read the creations of others.
