Let's recap the possible FO4's DLC

Post » Thu Jan 14, 2016 11:16 am

Well what I mean is that if its a full blown Abbey, having the ability to go in there, blow it up or shoot it up might be a bit controversial, and thus Bethesda might try and avoid tackling it. That's the only reason I could see not making it a DLC feature.

Depends on how its handled I guess. I may just be making something out of nothing though.

Do we really need another zealot faction?

If you want inquisitions. The Brotherhood is right over there in the Commonwealth. Do you think the Followers of the Apocalypse have no point as well? Not every faction needs to exists to burn and pillage.

I'd like an expansion on settlements, A more transparent happiness system, more tactical and strategic defense. (How did an army of Ghouls spawn INSIDE my walls?)

Do something with the Atomic cats, they're cool Daddy-O. I want to recruit them into the minute men or exterminate them for the Brotherhood.

Post game, I'd like to see the budding government of the Commonwealth. General elections? Maybe an ambassador from NCR (Or the Legion?) Or from wherever Fallout 5 is going to happen?

I want to build a Robot army. Or better yet a SYNTH army.

I think its long past time the Intelligent Deathclaws made a re-appearance.

I'd like to build settlements that look like they were constructed, not shanty towns.

Agreed I would very much like to see them again, It's been stated that DLC's will be based on player feedback so if we could get enough people to want it as well it could happen.

Nah, not that kind of zealous. I meant something more classic, like knights templars or so with heavy metal armour and shiskebab/new type of swords maybe even a shield which could finallly introduce melee + pistol type of gameplay ( in case of shields being too much )

It could tie nicely into a lovecraft/horro type of a DLC where the forces of Abbey would discover an uknown artifact deep beneath some old decrepit monastery/church and the artifcat could be occult, maybev even belong to Ug-Qualtoth? So, some kind of holy war vs the cultists type of a DLC where you can either side with the abbey or the occult group.

I suppose that might be interesting. As long as the supernatural elements are kept more subtle and less overt. It might be cool to have a horror themed DLC.

So yeah, i add in few times the OP, and still continue to be big. Well, that's a lot of stuff we wish to see. But not sure what Bethesda will try to made. I hope to see some of the stuff we put in OP.

That makes perfect sense. I hadn't thought about it from that standpoint.

Just had a thought, I know land vehicles would be out of the question, but how bout boats? They could give it this generic repeating motion, waters typically a flat and level surface, and there's enough of it to make it a viable option

I wouldn't mind but there is there are not enough places to use it, I know there are a lot of places separated by water, but most of the time you will just want to cross them by swimming yourself and get a little radiation. It would nullify the aquaboy perk, and not to mention most people would play it for fun a little and not use it much later. If boats were a thing they needed to work from generic objects you through in the water that float or something. Because most people will drop the idea of looking for their boat just to cross the little areas with water, not to mention the largest water area in the game is far from the main map down to the south. So unless they add a whole map to it, or give a nice functionality that you can use often, I think boats wouldn't really be used much.

I'm really hoping for a Pitt style DLC set in New Bedford, Newport, Albany, or Hartford that brings back the R91/perforator and the Chinese Assault Rifle as well as new structure and building options for settlements!

Yeah.

Chinese weapons are something that is glaringly missing from the game. The war was with China for crying out loud, where is all the Chinese S**T??

Yeah, i'm really curios about the pop culture about comisc, movies and tv series of that time. And not only about Grognak the Barbarian eh.

Just heard Curie say something along of the line " The lands might be contaminated, but the constellation's are still bright." Could be another hint to a lovecraft type of DLC. Probably reading too much into it, but it's interesting.

Since we're talking bout comics, I'd be stoked if they added the comic book posters to the build list, like the unstoppable a poster at the atom cats place. If only I had a decent computer! Lol totally mod worthy

Fallout 4 is a wonderful, immersive game, but I do believe it does require extra content added on. I really want to see more relations with NPC's or companions. Honestly, I want more romance options involved, not mindless robots. I'm thinking maybe the Sole Survivor could start a new family with any companion possible to romance. Possibly having another child would be amazing, because I felt sad when I couldn't connect with Shaun because of what happened to him. Possibly adding on a new area, like New York? I feel that would be an amazing place to have in Fallout. Thank you :)

Well... romance is good? Maybe, but i really don't like to see as a full transformation in a Mass Effect clone. This is Fallout

I do see where you are coming from, but honestly, with the mindless NPC's in the game, I don't connect with it emotionally, and I don't want to continue playing it because of its lack of depth with the characters. I'm not saying I want a romance simulator, just more romance options, and possibly allowing the Sole Survior to have a new child. It gets lonely shooting Raiders left and right 24/7 ??

The weddings in Skyrim were hilarious. Marrying Vilkas was one of the most awkward things I've ever done ?? I do think possibly adding on the option to start a new family would be incredible because you could see your child grow up to be evil, good, intelligent e.t.c, and I think it would just be reall beneficial to the game.
