since rieklings count as pets, has anybody else had the idea of trying the "can we keep him?" feature of Hearthfire?

I've come to thinking...maybe my riekling hunter companion is the Dragonborn and he just doesn't know it yet.

Hold on, I already got rid of the rieklings in the hall and ended up killing the thrisk leader. Can I still somehow get a riekling follower?

pretty sure you have to side with the rieklings to get one as a follower i think

at end of quests the chief challenged me and i had to kill him... now all the rieks just gibber jabber when i try to interact with them... no diolog box... did i do somthing wrong?

I had the same thing. There's no dialogue so I don't know how you could talk to them let alone give them equipment... but then the one in the pic is definitely holding a stalhrim sword and I don't know how he got it...

How can you forge stalhrim? I have the ebony perk i heard you need that but what else?

I got mine randomnly, I was in a fight with some Reavers and some Rieklings came charging down the hill to belp me then one followed me qround from then on.

Ps. I have done the Thirsk missions also.

The citizens of Whiterun are quite taken back by my Riekling follower. Nazeem asked him if he got to the cloud district often, the Riekling bopped him over the head with his spear and took Nazeem's shinies.
