Dragons dogma had all the class archetypes that fulfill the standard roles you would expect in an mmorpg, the game itself is quite repetitive, I guess something to be expected by Japanese developers, but it's combat mechanic is phenomenal, climbing the body of giant monsters to strike at thier head or disabling a particular limb, having your ally grapple an enemy to the ground as you deliver the finishing blow, all of it I think would translate very well in an mmo, even with action bars.
