I want to buy lakeview manor and I installed heartfire but I never got a message or letter for becoming thane so I can buy the house?
I've spoken to the jarl and he doesn't offer me any quests whatsoever, only his steward ordered me to kill some bandits and afterwards she didn't continue to give me quests either.

Can anyone help me with this?
