level cap increase? (question not fact)

So I'm just curious if anyone has heard if bethesda will increase lvl cap in a dlc? I'm lvl 76 (n a half) most of my skills are maxed out, the 4 that aren't are all 80 or higher. So I'm thinking max lvl is 80 give or take 2 lvls.

I hope that bethesda makes it so each skill tree caps at... Maybe 130 instead of 100. Even if they add only one perk to each tree. Some ideas for perks.
Archery=double shot (fire two arrows at once) or increased rate of fire.
Enchant=20% bonus to all enchants, or can have any enchant on any item
Lockpick=skeleton key (keep it even after completing thieves guild)
Destruction=2x bonus to any dest spell
Restoration=5 health per sec regen in battle, and 10 our of battle
Smith=either a armor/weapon set greater then dragon, or a bonus like +50% smithing
Sneak=phantom shout, projects a phantom that enemies attack while you sneak around them
One handed=ability to parry and block with one handed weapons if you swing at the right time
Two handed=duel wielding but reduces both weapon damage by 40%
Etc.

I think 130 skill cap would be enough to get the hardcoe players to lvl 100. Also I hope there are quests and enemies that are high lvl only, like dawnguards legendary dragons.

Not too sure about the rest of your post but Skyrim so far levels out at 81 (and a half) with all skills at 100.

I thinks it's possible if they add spears and hand-to-hand in. They would have to match it up in the other classes though (mage, thief, warrior, you get the picture)

I've never had a character reach level 81, nor do I plan to. To me, the level cap should stay exactly as it is. No need to add new skills for the sake of raising the level cap, IMO

i think they might increase it because if they do add a hand to hand and a spear perk tree(i think the spear will just be put into Two handed) they will have to and i always thought they kind of plan on increasing it all along because i always found it rather suspicious that it ended with half the leveling bar filled

but i do not think that they would expand the skill level to higher than 100

Skyrim does not need a level cap increase. If new skills were added I think the best thing to do would make it so more skill increases were needed between level ups. Yes that still means you would only get the same amount of perks to distribute but that is a good thing. It makes you think a bit more about what skills you really want to focus on rather than making an overpowered god

Where is the signs that they will add hand to hand?
Spears are obvious with all the animations added, but is it similar for h2h?

Anyway I guess spears are added as new perks under two hands, think how dual weapons are handled for one hand.

H2H is just speculated. There's some additional words that say combat with it, but it could stand for anything from Heart to Heart to Home to Home.

I think 130 skill cap would be enough to get the hardcoe players to lvl 100.

For what reason? Just to keep playing the "gain levels" metagame? I've never understood the attraction there - increasing level number really doesn't mean anything - it's what you get as levels increase that's meaningful.

edit: also, what's so "hardcoe" about grinding out all the skills to max / gaining levels?

(re: "gaining levels for the sake of gaining levels" - I could take original Fallout 3, with it's 20 lvl cap. Divide the amount of XP needed for each level by 5. Divide the amount of HP you get each level by 5. Make it so you only get a perk every 5 levels. And make the cap go to lv100...... and exactly nothing game-wise would have changed. You'd still need the exact same amount amount of XP to get to the cap, you'd still get the exact same number of perks, you'd still have the same amount of HP. The only thing that would change is that you'd get to hear "ding!" happen 80 more times.

But why? What actual purpose would it serve?)

In the end, I agree with the general consensus - there's no need for more levels, especially by the silly method of just letting skills keep going above 100. Yes, the game lets you get all your skills to 100, and therefore gain a bunch of levels. If that's your "thing". But it's not really a gameplay style that the game (or Bethesda in general) cater to. So, yeah - you can get to level 81. But don't expect that to increase.

(personally, I find doing that to be un-natural. Because you have to level all the skills, which means you need to play every playstyle on one character. And if you want to try other playstyles..... why not make a new character to see how it works?)

In Fallout 3 it was understandable, you ended up with plenty of relevant perks you could not pick. However standard fallout 3 was easy, then came broken steel and you desperately wanted more firepower.
