No, we already have too much hp/magicka/stamina as is,, most monsters dont level up past 30-40, and no weapons/armor exist for such high levels.

Why would it be needed?

no
this isnt fallout, which can easily raise the cap since its kill exp based
raising the level cap in skyrim would require a large number of entirely new perk trees
that isnt gonna happen, nor does it need to

They could just make stronger enemies, armor, weapons. And if they add new perk trees they might just have to

That's not how it works. Level 81 is the cap because you reached 100 in all skills. The only way to raise it is to add more skills. Bethesda didn't put the cap in deliberately like in FO3

But why increase the level cap? If they added a new skill tree, then sure. Ask for a new skill tree, not a level increase. Otherwise, there is no reason for there to be a level increase. Certainly not to 100.

Not what I was trying to say I meant that if they are adding so many new features then they are probably going to make more skill trees which means the level cap will most likely raise even if it's not to 100

The only skill trees I could see are spears and shouts. Shouts will probably be better if implemented in the way VL or WW was. As for Spears, could just go two handed. No need for level increase.

theres no new features seen thus far that merit a whole new perk tree

That may be true but we don't know if the PC can wield them.

the reiklings are creatures dude...
they have COMPLETELY different animation styles from NPCs
that is not a good basis for hoping on a spear perk tree at all
an NPC would not use the same animations at all
if we can use spears, theyre getting put into another tree like crossbows

With perk respec more levels are not neccesary if you want to move some perks to a new brench.
Besides, I dont see the point to have more levels.

We don't know if we have that either. Assumptions don't get anywhere and tend to make people complain when its not true.

If they do have new implementations for a spear then it'd just be added to one of the existing trees like Crossbows.
Only thing I can see getting some sort of tree would be shouts and those will probably function like VL/WW tree does except with souls or something.

I hate when people assume stuff is in the game then whine and blame the developers for "lying" when it's not in the game.....

I wouldnt mind as long as enemies level up more as well, I normally stop a character after 40-45 because theres little to no challenge

I don't see why everyone is complaining about raising the level cap it would also make gamers who are completionists extremely happy
