Leveling Issue

Post » Thu Nov 18, 2010 8:11 pm

I beat the game on hardcoe Wednesday and I decided to start a new game only I have found that I am unable to go past level 1. I applied the patch hoping this issue will be attended to, but I guess I can wait for the out-of-the-box game to improve with functionality that it should have already had before it was released.

Edit: I'm going to post other issues as I come across them.

If you move forward in the cave you will be able to see eventually. it appears as though you start out inside the wall when you enter the cave, but if you move forward, it goes to normal. But more importantly, how did you beat the game in a day? I've been playing all week and I just made it to The Strip. You must hve basically skipped everything and gone straight through the main quests...

I have yet to try what you suggested, but thanks for the reply.

I beat the game in a day thanks to the solo method of going through the main quests. I did not even reach level 20 by the time I got to the final battle, but I was still able to kill everything just fine with the basic weapons (varmint rifle and 10mm pistol). The game was on hardcoe and normal, with under 20hrs on the save slot. I just wanted to get the hardcoe achievement out of the way, mostly...not really a speed run.

I've beaten the game twice so far since the day it came out. I've started a third game but as I reach level 2 and advance nothing happens. I tried killing other NPC's to give me more exp. to see if anything happens, but all the exp. gage does is sit at the end where lvl 2 is located and doesn't move even when I've gained exp. Could it be because I technically haven't left goodsprings and confirmed my stats for my character?
