yes I did a search about this quest and nothing answers my question:

I did Battle for Whiterun, went to to see Ulfric, he gives me the "
Liberation of Skyrim" quest to save FFalkreath...well I go to the stormcloaks camp and Galmar is not there.


what am I doing wrong??? I can't go back to an earlier save cuz the ones I have are already AFTER the battle for whiterun....


please help!

EDIT: also I've done the Peace treaty thing too, but it wasn't until AFTER that part that I noticed I still had the Liberate Falkreath quest....could it be bugged beacuse i already did the peace treaty??

You may need to finish the MQ first, as the peace treaty can cause issues if youre partway through the civil war.

Have you tried going back to speak to Ulfric agaon? Sometimes this can trigger it again.

but if I finish teh MQ and kill Alduin, doesn't the game end there??

anyways I went bacl to Ulfric and it gave me the option "Reporting in", and he said at the moment they're ceasing hostilities with the imperials. BUT, the quest is still in my journal!
