i plan on rolling a character with skills(and skyre)
-illusion
-destruction(primary attack) shock spells
-Restoration
-one handed(as backup)
-conjuration(summoning a helper)
-sneak + plan to become vampire lord

I dont use any follower mods but i plan on having one guy, a melee person
I dont use bows or crossbows for this character. Not gonna touch it.

Which brings me to:
1. Light armor or cloth?

you see, most of my good looking clothes mod are light armors and heavy armors. I dont have any cloth mods at all and i couldnt find any good looking cloth armors. Which is why i favour light armor and never play a magic type.

But for this character, since i have this guy going melee and me being in the ranged casting spells and hoping i dont hit the follower, should i get light armor or cloth armor+mage armor? How do i deal with crossbow attacks since i have skyrim redone and xbows hit a lot!

2. Destruction: shock or fire? I always loved fireball, spamming them and causing things to blow up, but i find that shock mages kill me the fastest and decided to check it out. Also, very few monsters are weak to shock and i can kill mages too. So shock spells VS fire?
