light dawmguard armor

Post » Sat Nov 17, 2012 8:40 pm

i just completed a new order(and am fairly new to skyrim itself), and i currently looking for a free light dawnguard armor. i already have gaunlets ect. but im really in need of the briastplate like thingy, and as im fairly poor due me just buying a house i'd rather avoid buying it. any tips?

EDIT: and as i noticed a crossbow+steel bolts is quite a bit mroe effective than my old forsworn bow and iron arrows but steel bolts are not really i can loot of bandits ect., any place where i could get those easly as well?

Some of the dawnguard members are available as followers - you might be able to swap armour with one of them. Celann has a set of light armour, and I think most of the members also have crossbows & bolts in their inventories.

By doing the DG missions, you will be "initiated" and given your own set of armor and taught how to make bolts.

i already got my own set of armor, but poor enough it was the heavy variant. also, i didnt even smith once before(nor do i get a skill bonus for being a certain raice as im a bosmer) so i dont think im even close to the point where you can start smithing actual usefull things.

After completing a few quests, and you recruit Galmar into the DG, you will be able to purchace any variant of DG armor.
