Lighting Issues

At the moment I'm having a number of lighting issues with my mod.

This occurs whenever I change the direction I am facing, so long as there is an active light source (such as the torch). This could be an issue with the settings of my Skyrim installation. I spent a while trying out different lighting mods back before I began modding Skyrim and so its insallation might not necessarily be particularly clean. I intend to move my modding to a clean installation shortly, however in the mean time I'd like to ask if anyone knows about this problem and whether or not they can shed some light on the issue. Thanks.

Sincerely,

JFD.

Are those vanilla cells? I say this because I expect that this issue would be more prevalent in mod-added locations. I'm fairly certain that the number of lights acting upon those objects is the issue, this tends to be more problematic for large static objects. I experience this in the main cell of Mzandahrk and it's rather baffling because it should be impossible for most of the lights in that cell to act upon the afflicted objects........... :swear: :brokencomputer: :brokencomputer: yet when I remove them the problem goes away.

You should have a look in the CK if you can and run the "# of Lights" debug. Objects in your render window will now be highlighted with a range of colours. Objects that are closer to the red end of the spectrum are more "risky" with red being bad news.

*EDIT: Silly me, you mentioned already it's part of your mod. I can read you know.............

Thanks. I completely forgot about that debugging tool. That seems to be the issue. Red all over the place.
