my search finds lots of servers but they are all empty. Can't belive it's like 2 week from release and already nobody is playing. it's sad because i really like the game.

different time zones, here it's close to 12 afternon, and since central of europe (germany and stuff) is big market, you would expect someone to be playing. I have a day off and wanted to play some crysis 2 mp, but will have to play something else i guess.

Well its not like you need a plethora of players to have a match 15/16 would be good enough for you.

well for a standard game, with servers in europe, under 150 pings and ranked it finds 4 full servers rest empty.

Already yesterday, gave to play but only 4 or 5 ping servers had less than 1000

List night it was ok, but now it's very empty. well, i do find 2 or 3 16/16 servers but that is still very low for young game. I was hoping to be playing mp for couple of months.

Well i like the game. SP works no problems. But mp Dissconnect ( need to bypass router) Then crash on 3rd 4th map... No fix after 2 weeks... so yeah to many cheaters. game is dieing fast... Lots of lost sales for pc DLC. Who cares about PC anyway.. 480 sli p67 here.

Yeah I checked this morning and all but a few are showing 1000. I found the demo to be fine ping wise so am chalking this up to 'problems with the server'

This noon 12:00 gmt +1 and yesterday 22:00 gmt +1 I cant join a single game. Without having my nat changed since release I can only find 30 servers now and 90% of them have an unbearable ping of atleast 400. I mean 3 days ago I could find thousands and most had a ping under 100. Whats up?
Not to mention the quick match (that didnt really work earlier anyway) doesnt work for **** now, I can easily sit there for a good half hour without anything happening and finally I get thrown in my own empty lobby. Nice.

You are lucky you don't live in Asia. Only servers in Asia are Fragnetics servers and they are full. Always. My wait to get into a server lasts anywhere from 5 min to 20 min.

Yeah, that sounds like ****. But living in Asia I guess you can have some understanding, but what is the logic that a person from Sweden can't find more than a few dozen servers and join none on top of that? And this all happened just recently. Now I can't play for ****, totally bugging me out.

Should be a problem with your firewall.. I′ve been able to play at all hours, and always I′ve seen at least 15 servers full...

This game did let them play until 6th of april so that is the actual reason that we have like 100 players across the board.. **** ridiculous. When I looked for servers pre 6th I could easily find 1000, now today I find 30. And most of them are either full or have a ping that is unplayable. Yay.

I don't have any problem playing...Sometimes i get disconnected because i have a crapy connection, but that's all.
It was unfair that pirates could play without paying, it was not cool and it's fixed. So stop saying there are nobody on servers. It's not because some people have a life and work that Crysis 2 MP is dead. It's easy...when you log on steam, you know how many people are connected...and if you are connected when the slope is at a minimum...you are a nolife^^.

There is a fine line between opinion and just plain BS. Saying that its a stupid descision to ban pirate gamers from playing their game which people SHOULD be buying makes;

a) No logical sense, may as well release the game for free
b) An even bigger slap in the face for people who paid for the game (thankfully not as stupidly hilarious as Ubisoft).

Its hard to believe there was any actual thought put into the original post, warranting the exclamation to that effect. While there is also a fine line in that respect too, but when its as blatently obvious as this, i don't think hes wrong in the assessment of the original posters intelligence.

973 2,404 Crysis 2 on steam. It had like 8k in the first days, so it's fair to say the game is dead :/
Maybe because some people can't login anymore on the steam version(like me), or maybe the people got fed up with the disconnects, or maybe is because of the cheaters, or maybe some don't like the fact that there is no dx11 version, or maybe from the crossfire flickering problem, etc

Exactly the same problem here! Play disconnect, play, disconnect. OUt of the 12 games I played today, 11 of 12 of game I was auto-disconnected.
-My firewall (I use nortion) lets c2 play fine! I allow
-I tried the LAN disconnection trick, doesn't work
-patch made it worst
-Wired internet connection

It's crytek fault, not mine (or maby EA)
PS: >1560 servers but only about 360 of them contains players and 116/360 servers that has players, have at least >5 people. Sad, just makes my search even more difficult
PSS: Really!!! 12/16 people connected!! **Clicks on server** "Server is full" REALLY!!??! STILL GLITCH!
