Limping Cicero!

Post » Sat Jun 09, 2012 5:22 pm

I had Cicero as a follower and ended up thrown in jail in Solitude. When I got out he caught up with me in Whiterun, but was limping like he'd been in battle. I healed him and he's unhurt now, but still limping around. I dismissed him to go back home and he crawled away.

Holy cripes I feel guilty.

Anyone had this happen? Does the NPC eventually walk normally, or have I crippled him forever?

He deserves it for being the most annoying character ever (mostly for really poor voice acting). Haven't yet played through the Dark Brotherhood but I just wish I could cut Cicero's throat.

Sit in a chair. That resets the stance your character and followers are in. It might just work. If not, reload and see if that helps.

The only way to fix it... Is to reload to a previous save =(

Ive had that happen a few times and nothing helps... But then again...... I didn't try Wabbajacking them.... Try that, it may help!

*l* Thanks guys. I'll try sitting down, and if that doesn't do it I'll hit him with a Wabbajack.

Even if it doesn't work it'll be fun to try. :)

When you Wabbajack, make sure to save before doing it, and do it in an open area with no other npcs around~ Also dismiss Cicero =p

I thought it was perfect for the crazy nut he was supposed to be. Really unique, too. It would have been a shame if every time a guard walked by he spoke with Cicero's voice, for example.

He has hilarious lines when he's your follower.
