Has there ever been a use for them? I've never bothered collecting them so I'm just curious..

They're very popular in clothing mods. I grab every linen wrap I can get my hands on.

uesp is better in ways but i find myself looking at wiki more just because they have pictures of map locations im looking for

Both are useful for different things.

Sometimes the Wikia has information that the UESP doesn't have and vice versa.

I don't use wikia. However, from people linking to it in another forum, I've found EIGHT errors. Just from links people posted there to bogus information. My personal favorite? Mehrune's Razor can kill essentials. The other seven were just as ridiculous though.

So chances are the 'information' the wikia has that UESP doesn't is false. Just sayin... I look at both too sometiimes.

Yeah, you'll need mods before the linen wrap becomes useful, in which case they become very useful for making clothes.

I'll tell you the best use for them: hoard as many as physically possible, then wait til night. Drop them one by one in front of Nazeems house in a huge pile. Wait for Nazeem to emerge from his house when morning arrives, and fus ro dah them at him.

Ah I love pranking Nazeem. So much better than killing him

Just wanted to point out this little gem:

The Razor is more effective when equipped on the left hand while dual wielding blades, because, during a power attack, the left arm swings twice and the right arm swings once.

Anyway, it's true that the best use for them is to bombard Nazeem. Even when you can make clothes from them.

P.S. That's nine. Someone might wanna correct that.

Those wraps look really unsanitary for use, so it might be for the best not to use them...
