The Deathdealer: dual shortswords / daggers + sneak + light armor + speechcraft + destruction (Sky Theory)
The Death Knight: dual swords + heavy armor + conjuration + enchanting + restoration (timepilot)
The Crusader: two-handed weapon + heavy armor + alteration + restoration (Indalus)

Let's get a comprehensive list to give eachother ideas for our first playthrough. I'll add new ones to this post. Looking mostly for more exotic styles as my list is very generic.

If I left out your entry it was for one of the following reasons:

  • a small variation on an existing style.
  • skillset doesn't match the name, or the name is not very descriptive.
  • not a combat style.
  • not enough information.

Why would an executioner wear heavy armor?

I don't think a berserker should wear heavy armor, but that's just me.

I'll add one from Baldur's Gate II
The Kensei: any sword (but preferrably a katana-wakizashi/tanto combo or a dai-katana) + no armor

Whats not to get? We are just naming the skills we are gonna use most on our first play though; and then giving that skill-set a name, like warrior or assassin.

I realised there's an intresting option that arises form the way armour penalties work.

http://www.thefreedictionary.com/artificer: Staff + Enchanting + Heavy Armour + Alchemy + Smith

Instead of the character spreading his perks over a wide range of magic schools and eschewing armour like a general mage, he instead simulates magic from a wide range of schools with alchemy, staves and enchantments (As well as crafting and upgrading his own suit of powerful heavy magical armour). Conceptually very similar to the Torchlight alchemist. This also frees up a LOT of perks to go into utility or combat skills if desired

Looking forward to playing one ;p

I don't remember if there were any wakizashis or tantos in Oblivion, but there were in Daggerfall and Morrowind. I never used Akaviri weapons in Oblivion.

Sage; Conjuration + Alteration + Enchanting (incl. Staff) + Alchemy + Speechcraft.

Pretty much a mage that uses knowledge aside from magic to survive in Tamriel. This is where Enchanting, Alchemy and Speechcraft comes in.
The reason why he uses Alteration is because of the added effects of getting to places easier (Waterwalking/Breathing, Open Lock).
Conjuration because of the advantage of studying different creatures, anatomy of reanimated corpses and soul trapping.

OP has listed a nice start.

My ideas for a shaman include:

The Shaman: Staves, Daggers, (possibly Archery) + Alchemy + Conjuration + Alteration + Destruction + Speech + Cloth, Robes and Light Armor.

I am hoping that Alchemy will cover Restoration and Illusion. From what I have read, I think it will.

A lot like the OP's Druid, but with a couple more skills.

I am curious what you guys think of the Shaman, and how would you build an Alchemist, and a Healer?

The Skald(Berserker Bard): Dual Axes or 1h Axe+Illusion, Alteration, Enchantment, Light Armor, and Speech.

Uses Illusion magic and Speech based Warsongs to works groups into a Frenzy of blood lust and then charges right into the fray. Relies on enchanted light armor Alteration for safety.

Oh, I like your Artificer! You should put block in there as well, since you can block with a staff if you wield it with two hands.
