FWIW I've never discovered an equippable knife in getting on for 600 hours of normal play, so it's new info to me. Maybe it's not a new unique weapon, but I do think it's worth mentioning the new occurrence of existing rare items.

I agree with you but he shouldn't say it IS a new weapon when it isn't.. Eh.. I just don't like lies, even if they are on accident..

I didn't even know the knives were usable as weapons. Thanks for posting that.

And suddenly, a good thread turned into something I would expect on Bioware Social Network.......

Ugh.. Worst forum community ever.

So an entire page arguing about 1 thing that was pre-dawnguard but rare?

Excuse me while I bash my head through the wall like I just read another Infiltrator nerf thread on Bioware Social Network.

I will say that I appreciate knowing where it is myself, thanks to this thread. Although....I'd rather know where a fork is so I can relive the frustration of Morrowind.

Off he top of my head i know that if you buy Honeyside (Riften home) and get the porch upgrades you can get a knife and fork from the table on the porch

 Perhaps you should get over it? Randomly attacking people because they have an opinion that is right when you're wrong.

Randomly attacking a post that others appreciate just because YOU already knew? Sounds like a personal problem

I was unaware that it was obtainable...if it can be taken from him then that IS unique.

If you're vamp, after making him blind you can kill him, or just pickpocket him with misdirection perk.

You are forced to kill him on both sides in order to finish the quest.

What? No you arent, he lives on both sides. Vamp as a Thrall and DG as a...well layabout.

Also i just attacked him on my level 72 (Vamp side, QL finished) and he is essential so...
