1. Rotate small objects with the keypad while moving them
Desperately needed for house decoration. It's hard to place a skull properly on your bedside desk, you know?
2. Multiple quick-key selections
Needed to equip more than one thing per key. Are you being social or sneaky? Then equip all sneak apparel with a button. Magic or Melee? Equip both magics, both weapons, sword and shield, and the respective amulets.
3. Map notes
To keep track of flora/fauna/places not marked. Hover over them to read.
4. Journal
Something like Neverwinter Nights, but if it needs to be a book, be sure there's no huge letters or flipping through pages slowly.
Unless you can have multiple, nameable journals w/ different covers, give it a index of sorts with a "New Index" option to flip right where you want to be.
5. Speed up book pages
Self-explanatory.
6. Create a Morrowind-style dialog system for other modders to use.
To make quest creation/new characters easy to do.
7. The ability to change your companion's armor/weapons.
Might be doable by assigning a key to use when in their inventory, with indicators similar to your own equipped items.
edit: Okay, they'll use the most powerful weapons you give them. Dunno about armor.
8. A hotbar, used in conjunction with suggestion #2
Shows all the items equipped when the quick-keys are pressed. Uses the same font as the arrow type used when shooting a bow.
9. When storing items, double tap R to store the entire stack.
Having to switch between R and E for the quantity selection causes the player to make mistakes between storing items and accidentally using a separate item.
10. hardcoe mode
Only one save, based on the character. Dying uses an autosave for the last map you entered.
11. Wield a bow while riding a horse.
