To little content in ESO?

Just noticed that they said the average player will take about 120hours to get to lvl cap.
That sure sounds like alot at first, but its realy not for the dedicated players. Im a little worried we will see lvl 50 players within one week/10 days

And now my real concern, does this meen that they have way to little content in the game, or do they realy have so strong and captivating an endgame from launch that it wont be one big empty world after the first month when everyone has allready tried it all and moved on to the next game

Several other MMOs have fallen in to that trap over the years, SWTOR, Warhammer online just to name 2 big ones (well they thought they would be big) and I realy dont want to see ESO be just another forgotten MMO come 2014

A shorter time to level cap is becoming the new thing. Gone mostly are the days when it could take you even years to reach level cap as more and more games choices are put out there in the world, they become more casual and people's attention spans slowly get a little bit shorter.

But in all seriousness, people reaching level cap in a week/10 days is sadly becoming pretty common, and it's not even wholly down to lack of content, some people just play like that as for instance there was a level 80 in GW2 on the 2nd day I think it was? and a few 50's in SWTOR in the first week I believe. You can't judge the game based on players like that.

I will agree though that I wish it took far longer to reach level cap, but it's tough these balancing a progression system between the newer impatient casual gamers and the hardcoe take a long time to reach a high cap players.

Due to the megaserver though, the world will NEVER be empty, even if there's only 50 new players who join a day, those players will never find themselves alone if they wish it. So that really won't ever be a problem.

As long as the game has GOOD content, and enough of it, especially at endgame, people will stick around.

At least until the next "big" thing...

They are definitely making sure that endgame will offer a lot, but that doesn't mean that there's little content. You have three whole provinces (4 if you include Cyrodiil's PvE aspect) to explore and quest in. There are so many dungeons and adventure zones (for the higher ups) that you may be a lvl 50 doing a lvl 10 quest for the sheer joy of it. I'm not worried about the content amount in this game, as there will be a TON and exploration fills in the gaps that may leave you dissatisfied. Not to mention any expansions that they'll come up with.
