How? I tried countless times? I've seen members with GIFS as avatars, but I've been trying for awhile now and it fails.

Make sure it doesn't exceed size or dimension limitations.

If it's an animated gif make sure the width is smaller than 90 pixels before you upload it.

Has to be under the specified size requirements, otherwise it will be automatically resized and will lose it's animation.

Only gif image I used was my Zarosian Dragon which was a purple dragon with the Zaros symbol on its forehead and it just float, flapping its wings constantly. It was 50x50 so try something like that size?

I think you should know when tags are being used in a serious manner or not.

As it is I'm not seeing you with any avatar, not even the default "you have no avatar so have a gray figure" avatar. If you don't figure it out by yourself you can try sending me a link to it and I might be able to make it work for you.

Wow, the size limitations are pretty strict. Looks like it won't upload if its over 100KB. I really need to reinstall Photoshop so I can compress the image without losing frames... bah, just a test anyway.

I used GIMP 2 to make my avatar. It requires a lot of re-sizing and cropping to get the image below 100KB, but I didn't really have a problem with the image dimensions having to be a certain number. I think as long as the width is below 90 pixels and the image is below 100KB it will animate without a problem.
