I refer to myself as a brony, since I see the term "bro" as gender-neutral. I'd never heard of pegasister before. Why would someone get mad about that? :confused:

If I can get into town next week (I'm supposed to be saving fuel, and it's too far to go on my bike) then I will be getting materials for a plushie. I'm feeling Fluttershy right now, though that might change.

I thought since Bro is somethinng that two male friends call themselves. I thought it would be Brany, since Bra is like the hip saying to call a girlfriend (not the couple version of GF).

Also, something that just bugs me about some fanon: If Derpy/Ditzy is about the same age as the Mane 6, then why do people think of Dinky Doo as Derpy's daughter? Wouldn't it be more appropriate to make Dinky Derpy's kid sister or something?
(EDIT: Maybe they aren't related biologically, and Derpy might have adopted Dinky?)

Have to agree that bro can be considered gender neutral in several circles. Bro transcends things sometimes being used instead of "Friend" which is why Brony is more understandable. However, Pegasister seems to have cropped up, but whatever the case is we are all MLPFIM lovers.

Can't wait for the new episode to see what the CMCs do. Rather disappointed that we didn't get an entire Scootaloo episode since AB had 2 and Sweetie Belle had atleast 1. Poor chi...I mean filly is already mocked and that tiny winged ultra buff horse/pony thing makes her feel even worse.

This is most likely the last episode this season for Scootaloo to get some spotlight, so I really hope that she will be having some moments during this episode.

Most fanterpritation is utter crap. Plus, Dinky was seen at the social with Berry Punch (and they both won it). Also, if we go by fanterpretation logic, Sweetie Belle should be Rarity's daughter.

Also, dark reaper, 'brah' is the same thing as 'bro.'

Also it seems to be very popular to ship her with Doctor Whooves, for why I'm not entirerly sure (Hooves and Whooves??). I see countless of shipping art and fics whenever I browse Ponibooru etc.

I find it hilarious that some people say that the creepy jelly pony is Derpys weird father or brother though. :tongue:

There are some funny and interesting family theories that shows up occasionally, but most of them doesn't even become fanon.

Really great episode. I went in without knowing anything about it. Too bad I missed 7 minutes of the beginning, but I can watch that later. My favorite highlights from what I've seen:

1. Rarity saying she will destroy Sweetie Belle
2. Fluttershy embarrassed by her tail extensions.
3. Big Mac and AJ switch roles
4. Trixie gets a name drop

Overall: From what I've seen, this was a great episode and probably my favorite CMC episode.

Citizen Tiara (I loved how they framed her face in front of her poster thing before she got rid of it, and I loved the depth of field used in her other scenes)

That whole spa scene was awesome. Why is it that every spa scene is awesome?
Everypony's reactions to their own gossip stories, especially Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie and...
RARITY! Oh man, so many good lines here. "I'LL DESTROY HER!" "Et tu, Gabby Gums" etc.
Blackmail? In my children's cartoon?
The CMC getting their just desserts for all the gossip stories was nice (AJ and Big Mac switched roles!)
Their solution to the problem was also very nice

I'd probably rate it a high tier episode, not the best but one of the better ones. The animation seemed especially awesome.

In regards to the latest episode.

Above Average with plenty of highlights this time around.

-Nathan gets upgraded to speaking role with a nice hat
-Macintosh gets full lines for the first time since S1
-Also Macintosh with Smartypants for great continuity
-Raging Rarity
-Magic barriers as canon
-The various rumours involving the Major and Fluttershy.

Overall with some slowness in the beginning it was quite a treat.

Also about next weeks episode.

The idea of whodunit as a episode intrigues me. In particular if we get to see another griffin character (preferably a reasonable one).

Overall it was a good episode and would give it a 7 out of 10:

The beginning was great setting up everything for the episode to follow. Having Pinkie Pie watching over Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle for the pirate ship thing out newspapers was beyond cute. For some reason I was reminded of the Love Boat when I saw the thing sinking with Sweetie Belle and Scoot showing their flanks.

Rarity was definitely a much needed addition the way she tied everything together. If I had to say anything this episode was part AB part Sweetie Belle leaving poor Scootaloo in the dust once again. We got a few nods to her with the flying bit with the birds, but that was it imho. Wanted to see more of Scootaloo, but sadly what we saw will have to suffice.

Holy crap did I see a picture of Celestia devouring a stack of cakes lol. Mr. Ponimator better do something on that I swear or so help me Celestia I will.

Trixie gets mentioned thus providing Continuity to her existence. However, it would have been nice to atleast see a picture of her angry at the camera.

Again overall it's a great episode to add to season 2, but wouldn't call it a top favorite of mine.

I'm waiting for 1080 on youtube, it's normally put up about 9pm here. I didn't even read a synopsis for this episode, so it's going to be a complete surprise for me.

I liked this more then I thought I would but I've seen the whole newspaper/tabloid routine alot in other shows (Simpson's did it) but it was still a good episode...and some of the highlights.
1: Scootaloo did fly a little bit in this episode---she got her rear in the air while her face was in mud but hey it's a start.
2: Applejack and Big Mag did a role reversal, Aj did all the one liners, Big M did ALOT OF TALKING in this episode.
3: Rainbow Dash didn't like the mare at the spa touching her hooves, in fear of looking to soft----then the tabloid came.
4: RD paying back the CMC by "raining on their parade".
5: Poor Fluttershy---not sure if she was upset about the tabloid or did she really have tail-extentions?.
6: Dimond Tiarra getting her just deserts.
7: The Great and Powerful Trixie got mentioned in this episode.
8: I liked Rarity in this episode, they did great on her at first blowing off the whole tabloid as just harmless fun----that was until she got put in the spot light. Her reaction was priceless.

As for my question I asked because I saw someone welcoming a brony to the herd on youtube, but the reply was that she was not a "brony" as she was indeed a she. I really don't get it, so I think I'll just stick with using brony as a genderneutral term.

It's almost like the question do you call a female officer in the military a "Sir" or Ma'am"? My little rule of thumb wether in doubt use "Sir". Same can be said about calling a woman that likes MLP:FiM just use Brony unless they want to be called something else.
