Looks like Fl. State got out of their funk, now I need Missouri to get out of theirs. Yeah, my hometown team Norfolk State Spartans are threatening to screw up my brackets by beatin Missouri.

Well, they sure did. Two 2 seeds down! I'd guess 99.99% of brackets are already down. That's what makes this fun.

I just realized I started this thread last year.

Some crazy upsets. Even crazier I talked to my grandpa a couple days ago, and he assured me that Ohio would upset Michigan. Assured it, and sure enough it happened. Funny thing is, he does this all the time.

The good news is I still have my final 4. The bad news is that I have lost 2 of my final 8 in the 1st round. Ouch!!!

In the NCAA Tournament, anything can happen.

I only had duke in the elite eight, and I had Marquette beating Missouri state to get into the elite eight, one of my friends is better off than I.

Well, I am a student at UNC, so obviously I have them winning it all. We looked great today, but this news about Kendall Marshall is not good. Not good at all. I'm staying optimistic that he can play through it, but I can't be sure, obviously. Stillman White has at least gotten some experience lately since Strickland got hurt, but I'm so nervous!

St. Louis was a brutal team, they played rough. I think Louisville will be easier for MSU, but Marquette could be a problem if they both get that far.

Being a UNC Basketball fan I have to say that the chances of UNC winning it all have gone from great to slim to none. Henson could have been replaced with MacAdoo and possibly still been a great team. Without Marshall they have no one to distribute the ball as well. Stillman White might have some experience, but he's no Kendall Marshall by a long shot.

UNC's chances at a title went down with Kendall Marshall I'm afraid.

I could see them getting into the final four though. It would be pretty awesome if Ohio beat them, for me at least :P

Without Kendall Marshall, that very well could happen. If not then there is NO WAY they will beat Kansas nor NC State without Marshall. The final 8 is as far as they will go now.

They could beat Kansas, they aren't that great. Purdue almost had them.

I'm satisfied with Syracuse getting to the sweet 16. I know they could have won it all with Melo's dumb ass. It kind of svcks.

My bracket was taken behind the woodshed and abused.

I missed 8 in the round of 16.
I have 3 of the round of 8 gone. (Missouri, FSU and Wichita State)
I have 2 of the Final Four gone (Missouri and FSU)
I have 1 of the NC Game gone. (Missouri)

Why you had Missouri in the Final Four, let alone the finals I will never know. 3/4 of my sweet sixteen is still in, 3/4 of my elite eight are still in, and my entire final four is still in, that would consists of Kentucky, Ohio State, North Carolina, and Michigan State.

Missouri was a good pick to make it to the finals actually. They had a great season and looked strong, up until the point they played Norfolk State.

What makes the NCAA tournament so great is that anyone can beat anyone at any time. Last year it was VCU making noise by getting to the final 4. This year is was Norfolk Sate and Leigh High making noise by beating Missouri and Duke in the 1st round as well as Ohio U. beating Michigan.

Well I sure as help wasn't going to pick Michigan state to come out of that region.

I really hope people keep overlooking Florida, they have been playing extremely well since that 3 point loss to Kentucky. When we are playing defense like the past 3 games and our 3s are falling (remember, most 3 point proficient team in the nation) we are a very tough out.

We looked and played like a 7 seed when Patric Young was in his funk and we lost Yugette, however with Young back to the player we all expected him to be and the emergence of Casey Prather we are playing more like a 2 seed. Nobody who doesn't follow this team will see that difference, they see us as fortunate right now. Marquette better bring its A game.

Because Florida is going to beat them ;)

(all in good fun bud)

Michigan state is definitely the best team in the region, Izzo is a HOF coach. But if Michigan State has to play Florida, watch out.

We Gotta get by Marquette first
