Liza O'Malley (NCR receptionist)

Post » Wed Mar 09, 2011 2:44 am

M'kay first thing I noticed while walking into the NCR embassy on the strip was the receptionist Liza O'Malley. Something seemed odd so turned on my pipboy light, and yep she is an odd pale gray... I thought 'Somethings not right about here lets chat it up...'

When the option to ask more about her popped up I was sure it would say something about her odd skin condition. However all she said was along the lines of 'lets not talk about me'. Yep very odd indeed. I even have the lady killer perk so I know it can't be tricked out of her that way...

So what do you think is up with O'Malley?
- First stages of ghoul'ism? are there stages? (we know it can be quick from Fallout 3, and
Spoiler
the town with radiated NCR folk
)
- Turning vamp like the Arfu incident?
- Cannibalism? (I don't remember where, but I am sure someone in NV mentions a change with people who resort to cannibalism)
- A red herring?
- Play more noob its explained later?

Not a vamp.
Not a ghoul.
Not a cannibal.
Probably just a skin condition explained by medical science.

Oh so it takes a high Medican/science skill to get that info from her?

Explanation: It's a game. Someone made her the wrong colour.

In all seriousness though, I never even noticed this.

There were tons of milky-white people in FO3.
Didn't mean any of them had ghoulification in them.

She, just like http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Ranger_Ghost, is a result of whoever designed her putting her skin color at the extremely white end of the sliders. Not a ghoul, just weird skin color.

Naw. I think Ghost is supposed to be an Albino. Explains why she's donned out like she is.

Maybe, but she's never actually confirmed to be an Albino in dialogue. It'd make sense, yes, but she may very well just be really pale.
