Here is the problem: I save very regularly hoping that I can revert to an older save in case something goes wrong. Whenever I start the game and try to load my latest save, the loading screen comes up, the little ball rotates happily in the roulette graphic...and then the screen starts flickering and the ball in the roulette shakes back and forth, and that's the end of it. Mind, the game does NOT freeze...I can still hear the background noises and the music as if the game had loaded up properly. For example, if I hit the button to bring up the Pipboy, I can hear the sound effect the game makes when the Pipboy comes up. So, it looks like the game HAS loaded, but the only thing I can see is a flickering loading screen.
What I typically do is restart Fallout NV and try to load up previous saves...and the trick typically works going back about 10-15 minutes (3-4 saves) into older saves. Although lately I have started to get the same problem during in-game loading (e.g., I go from an indoor location to outdoor, the game loads the outdoor location, and puf the loading screen "freezes").
Please let me know if others are having the same issue (and if so if you have reported it as a bug to Bethesda), and if you can recommend any solution. Thank you.
