Hi to test I have added the same town specific variables on the loading screen setup , after creating of course my custom one copied from another town location , I put the nif all correct , set up the loading screen nif file , but , everytime I enter and exit skyhaven , where I put the model to load , I get black screen and nothing loads , why ? what I am supposed to do to make it show up?

When the game crashs or hangs itself up upon loading, then most likely the NIF file is broken, this is also what happens when you try to load a NIF file from previous games (or made with exporters for previous games) Sometimes it just hangs, sometimes there is a window with an error message in the background.

When the loadscreen stays black and then the cell is loaded the game either can't find your nif, or the nif itself is black ingame because you forgot to activate the Vertex Colors in Nifskope

vertex colors are active , the cells is loaded fine and in normal times but stays black nothing gets loaded ...

Ideas?

yes but I just noticed I didnt add the camea nif ... may be is that....

It is still not working ... any other ideas? I copied the same settings of the elven shield and the same variable setting of the town shield ....

Are you sure the models have the right size and then it doesn't go offscreen?

We still don't know what your problem is.

This tells us nothing, you're contradicting yourself. Either it loads fine, or nothing gets loaded and it stays black, but not both.

If the game hangs in the loading screen the NIF is broken

If the loading screen is empty but the cell is loaded fine, the game can't find the NIF.

If the cell loads but stays black with blurry bright spots (as if you're half blind) it has nothing to do with the loading screen. This happens when you teleport to a place outside the region border or when something else disrupts the loading sequence.

Have you tried to zoom in/out? how did you come up with the translation values above? Are you sure your translation values are correct?

CombatBlockShield uses X-16 / Z -45 - A person is about 128 high.

Have you tried to remove the underscores ( "_" ) from the editor names?
Previous Editors had problems with them sometimes.

no I haven't tried but I have tried to use a direct copy of the elven shield , that is working usually in general areas , I put the condition on get incell and nothing loads as well ... is there something wrong in the scripting or the cell itself?

I tried also getincell instead of getinloc and still nothing loads on the screen during the transition ... what other function I coul dtry?
