So i was dikeing around on Arrrrr Ye Matey! and i got kinda screwed, this is the only site i can use, i can't use Google or Facebook, Twitter or Youtube, nothing pops up on Virus Scan, When i go to Facebook and Youtube it says "Attention Required" And then says i've been doing suspicious stuff and tries to make me take a survey to get a free gas card to prove that i'm human, i really need help here, what can i do to get out of the locks? I can't take the survey cause it makes you give a physical address and i don't want some ad crap to know that, i can't google solutions so can you guys please help? I already removed the thing i got from Arrrrr Ye Matey!

That is a virus, or some form of malware, no doubt about that.

Use another computer to download an up-to-date antivirus program, as well as Malwarebytes.

Hopefully whatever is causing the problem will let those install as they require being downloaded as part of the install process. What genius thought that was a good idea for virus and malware programs, I don't know, but I would love to introduce my fist to his face.

You don't give an address when yous sign up on Facebook or Youtube, it's a virus site

Don't give your address out.. as far as I remember FB or Youtube didn't ask for your address when you signed up.. therefore they don't need it for verification.

There are a few threats that have popped up in AVG in this scan, not quite finished yet, never going to Arrrrr Ye Matey! again

Once your scan is done and you've had it fix the issues, restart your computer and run it again.

Unfortunately the clean-up process for things like this is never quick.
