I didnt suffer the problem myself but i know a few people have. if ur locked out of new vegas and theres no way in there is a key. on tommy torini's missions all the people you have to recruit have new vegas keys on them which u can pickpocket. Dont kill them though!!! i dont know if anyone else has relized this or not i hope it helps

Reputation problem? Hardly.
Might work for those unfortunate enough to still have a glitch like this though.

I just sniped a Securitron while using a Stealth Boy. He had a key and I didn't aggro anyone else.

that guy in Novac running from Bishop has one too

Doesn't work if the NCR wants you dead, though.

Had the key and was locked out after the white glove society quest. That quest really messed up my game. Bugged. Started a new game, and hopefully the patch fixes it.

I got locked out during the Carlitos/Joana quest. I took the monorail....but I agree that the monorail option wouldn't work for those with a bad rep with the NCR.

Sure it does...just kill everyone in Camp Mcarren like I did
