right, so im FINALLY at northwatch keep, kicked some real ass :wink_smile: , now its time to unlock the cell to free Thorald, little did i know it requires master lockpicking and i only have 1 lockpick.. yes, 1

so ive saved before i do it, so i can restart anytime.. anyone got tips as to how to unlock it at master level when im not that high?.. anyone done it and can tell me the co-ordinations?.. lol, kinda screwed over here

I don't think the sweetspot will be in the same place upon reloading, it certainly wont be in the same place on a diferent game. Perhaps there might be a key you have overlooked, on a body,hook or table, did you search the interrigator/torturer?

The way I do it is to tap as briefly as possible for every position of the lockpick, and see if it jiggled. If it did, move the lockpick round slightly and try again...

If it didn't, then tap the button again, but for slightly longer, and see if it jiggled. If it did, move the lockpick round slightly and try again.

If it didn't, tap the button for slightly longer....

You get the idea

personally lockpicking is pretty easy for me, only 1-3 lockpicks even for master/expert locks. also, making a save and trying over and over again for some reason doesn't work for me because each time i reloaded, it seems like the spot where you have to put the pick to start unlocking it had moved to a new spot.

to help you out, clear the rest of the area, i seem to recall some spare lockpicks in the area.
