Lonesome Road won't be released this month. Thread #2

Post » Thu Aug 11, 2011 10:19 am

 lolololo

Jason Bergman: "Good lord, you guys are paranoid...It will be out this month."

Jason Bergman: "Lonesome Road won’t be out this month."

But, in all seriousness, your customers will only give you so many chances before they are forced to deduce your company is run by clowns.

Well, the Mr. House ending is the REAL ending (or at least it should be!).

West coast story line always favored NCR though.

compensation for what? You've lost nothing, you didnt pre-pay for any of the DLCs, you have lost nothing. Entitlement is a terrible thing.

I've lost my faith haha ;-)

What do you mean "always?"

We've had two games! Third time's the charm, and like I said, it'd be a shame if House got written out of the series. No one will give a damn if we lose Kimball or Oliver though.

Contradicting Bergman statements aside, I'm not too concerned or annoyed by this, because it was evidently coming out after school starts for me anyway. I'll actually have things to focus on then, so the wait won't be too bad.

Yaaaay!

Gotta be House.

The entire game suggests that both NCR and Legion svcks, so it'd be weird if they were like "LOL NVM NCR WINS." Yes Man let's everyone live but also feels like a cop-out. House is just a cool, interesting character and it'd be a shame if they wrote him out of the Fallout universe right after he got here.

I'm sorry to stick my fat head in here, but I totally agree. I thought he was gonna be a bad guy but he's actually the only voice of reason, apart from the money obsession of course. I also recently found out that there are different 'kinds' of ending for him, so you don't necessarily have to feel bad about it. (I've only completed it three times, once for each main faction.)
And of course, it always helps that had he appeared as his younger self, I totally would.

I totally agree! Mr. House just fits in so well with the Fallout world. The others are just politicians - we have enough of those in real life!

Wasn't bergman the one who loved that guy who said "god, waiting for this DLC is more stressful than going through my divorce" while waiting for Honest Hearts to appear on Steam?

Why do you hurt the ones you love, bergman? That poster probably commited suicide by now. :sadvaultboy:

Yes Man was just the crappy failsafe ending

House definatly shows he can building his own big faction and later future contender if the running fallout super powers plus he can be reasonable compared to the NCR trying to cut him off chance they get and legion well destroying other tribes and bring whats left in to there army

Plus hes Odo in star trek that always helps

EDIT:Also is it possible to make it that the legion used catapaults at the battle of hoover dam launching there troops over just because caeser can?

He's obsessed with money because he wants to rebuild humanity elsewhere. I can forgive him a little bit of obsession for such a worthy goal!

It just comes across as a little heartless at times. The ending I got was pretty much "And Vegas turned into a moralless hellhole and not a single [censored] was given that day", so I'll try with other endings.

So it's agreed: everyone wants House to win.

Can we also agree that Tabitha and Rhonda need to venture through Caesar's land and inspire children's stories, and that Lily continues to take her medicine at half doses?

I actually think it'd be awesome to have Lily as a companion in a future Fallout game.

Imagine entering a room and seeing her, then hearing she's just as confused as in New Vegas. You'd be like "YAAAAAAAAAY, GRANDMA'S BACK!!! "

Still fits "always"

I don't know I always saw Fallout as NCR's story. Democracy nuking itself back to the stone age, starting over, destroying itself again and so on. I think they hit the expansion limit so if we see another game on the west coast, I think we're gonna bring NCR down.

only if one of the childrens stories has them meeting up caeser who just escaped the fort being destroying and is sour over his loss and Tabitha and Rhonda tries to cheer him up

Wow I go away for a few hours and come back to all this. Anyway I don't really have a problem with it, we're still going to get it one way or the other, the waits just going to be a little longer.

I guess maybe they're happy to know right where you'll be if they drop trow right in front of you.

And, if you want to actually defend them against "whiners", I'd suggest coming up with some sort of argument as to why "whiners" ought not to "whine", rather than just telling them to stop doing it. Just imagine if lawyers did that:

Judge: "Your client is accused of assault, battery, and murder in the 2nd degree. How does he plead?"

Attorney: "We would like to enter of plea of 'QQ moar' your honor."
