I look invisible to myself but I'm not actually invisible

Post » Tue May 15, 2012 5:22 pm

Okay so my character has vanished from view and looks invisible but can be seen my NPCs and everyone.
I don't know why she's invisible (but it's not in my magic effects or anything) it happened while I agreed to test the girl at the mage college's experiments on me.
First she turned me green and that went away, and then I agreed again and she made a dog appear... but then I was invisible from then on.

It's really distracting and I would love it if someone knew how to make it go away. I believe it must be a glitch or something since it's not in the magical effects and everyone can see me regardless of being invisible. It's been like this for like three days now.

Thanks.

I believe this is a glitch then. I did the same quest two days ago and I was turned back into my normal self after agreeing the second time.

Alright well at least I'm not the only one who has had this happen to them.

I'm sorry, I edited my post probably before you read it. I meant to say that I was turned back to normal.

Oh mine turned me invisible after the second time.
I turned green and I wasn't invisible - just green.

It was when she made that dog appear I turned invisible ):

Yeah that is why I believe its a bug. You did the first experiment and after awhile you turned back to normal. After the second experiment you didn't. I on the other hand did. Is their a previous save that you can go back to and try again to see if you get the same result?

I could look, the thing is I've progressed a lot since then and don't want to start right from there.
But it's a better idea then starting over completely.

if you do have a better save then just reload it and do the quest to see if it happens again but don't save your game if you want to keep your current progress. Just do it to test it out.

The quest sort of bugged for me. It seems a lot of quests are buggy if you initiate dialogue in 3rd person. When I talked to her for the second quest I did so in 3rd person, so when it started the camera panned back and I vanished being replaced by an animal a few feet away. Every time she spoke she was looking at where my character model had been previously standing and occasionally would cast her spell in the direction instead of at the animal I had been replaced by. Thankfully I didn't stay invisible or anything, but my issue may be related.

Okay so I went back to the save near that quest and redid the quest and I didn't stay invisible this time, I did it in third person and she did the same thing as people are posting about above (Not shooting in my direction).

I would go back to that save if I wasn't 11 levels ahead of that part now >.>

So I guess I'm staying invisible, would there be anyway to fix this?
