The title pretty much sums it up.

I'm hoping someone can point me to a mod that does nothing more than just add more follower slots, because try as I might, I can't find one, lol.

All the mods that do either add a huge host of things I don't really want or almost look perfect, and then make some really bizarre dialogue change. Hell, if there's a command that can add more follower positions I'm all for that too. I just want to go stomping around with several Dawnguard guys, lol. Seems a waste to have all these potential followers and I've got one quest-specific follower glued to my hip for the majority of it all (I'm not far and have never done it, no spoilers please, lol).
