I would like to start a community dedicated to ESO and am curious..

What are some things that draw you guys to a different community?
What are things that would deter you from it?
I've been attempting to build one for quite some time and havent had any luck.

Wait till the game's out, play it, make friends while playing, and then invite them

If you MUST start now, I'd guess you'd only succeed if you're filling a gap that's not being filled by other forums. This one and two or three other fansites. So look around and see what they're doing and do something else.

I'm curious as to why somebody would WANT to start a new community at all? Just like being the leader?

Personally, I think this community is fine... for an MMO forum, it's amazingly polite and rational That'll probably change closer to release, of course

I have been pleasently surprised by this community, amazingly polite is the perfect description.

Just an interest I have I guess but havent had any luck with getting others to commit.
