Hello forumers!

I have recently discovered Darklands, and what a game it is indeed!

So I was searching yesterday for games along these lines:

Medieval/Fantasy

Top-down, old school, open-world exploration RPG (think original Fallout, but Medieval/Fantasy)

RPG

The thing is, I've been uninterested in many exploration & RPG games lately. And then I remembered, there are a whole sleuth of oldschool exploration RPG games I have never played or even heard of!

And I did some research, and found Darklands! It's a fantastic game. It's text heavy (I love it (think of King Arthur: The Wargame and it's questing system, but this game uses this comprising at least half of gameplay)).

So, I am wanting to learn of more games that have these characteristics. Darklands, btw, I completely recommend to anyone who is seeking a great open-world rpg game, with tons of exploration and dialogue. Character development is also HUGE.

I'm not here to review the game, but if anyone could recommend similar games, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Also, let's use this forum too to discuss Darklands and any other, recommended games.
