Looking forward to the game? Tell us why!

Post » Mon May 14, 2012 4:45 pm

I've dabbled in MMO's, and to be honest haven't really been hooked by one yet. A TES one however, could be what I'm looking for.

I'm looking forward to exploring lands we have yet to see. Looking forward to learning more about the game world I've grown to love.

I'm also looking forward to actually having a real go at an MMORPG that interests me.

You?

I'm looking forward to making a bunch of Elder Scrolls fan rage when I say "TES:O is the best game because:" and wait for profits.

Or having an MMO allows them to focus on other IPs

Looking forward to the game being fun and balanced; if it hits both of those then I'm set, whether I play it or not.

Looking forward to the dynamic combat they announced.

Looking forward to how they will implement classes, what is to become of all the skills and if there will be something like a mage-thief, warrior-mage, how specialized the skills will be, is sneaking only for thief class? etc.

Looking forward to what role the fighters' guild, mages' guild, dark brotherhood, etc. will have in the game.

Looking forward to the soundtrack.

Looking forward to even more info!

there is a solution to this, join an RP sever, and turn the chat off. hud elements are usually customizable, even modable in mmos.

But you're just guessing... there is zero evidence the SP game is done for, yet that's all I read about on here. Why are you just mindlessly predicting things?

I'm waiting for them to change their minds and redo it from scratch to make it good, or for the game to fail horribly. :\ GW2 is gonna claim the market with the mechanics idea that they have currently and they'd be better suited going back to remake the game better than it is now. Or, for sake of stopping a fail, kill off the game completely and move back to Beth being awesome and making beautiful TES:VI :D

Daggerfall was my first exposure to a PC RPG. I have always loved the theme and feel of Tamriel and it has been the setting I compare all others to. I eventually moved on to MMO's as they came out: Ultima Online and Everquest ect. I really enjoyed the social aspect and the community, but I have never really enjoyed their settings.

This is why I am looking forward to TES:O.
TES:O is going to be my favorite genre of video games (MMORPG's) using my favorite setting.

Well, since Skyrim is somewhat of a disappointing game for me I'm looking forward for TESO. If it's another WoW clone then is over. I'll keep playing Mount & Blade: Warband and modded Morrowind and, Skyrim when the mods become more stable and the devs fix the bugs.

I've got to note this real quick, go look at that link and look at the pictures and names of that post and the 3 beneath it, that's just extremely confusing and the face of the man looking up is priceless, hahaha.

Well it depends on how it plays really.
Dekaron is a grindfest.
And WoW, I don't like it, it's text, it's font, it just feels... Beta.
So if it isn't a grindfest only like Dekaron and it feels more polished than WoW then I'd look forward to lulzing about the gameworld, harassing players with combat, begging, dancing and stealing kills and loot.

Am looking forward to ELDER SCROLLS ONLINE just to witness the mass slaughter of maladaptive behaviour types as they suddenly get smacked down by the laws and consequences of THE ELDER SCROLLS UNIVERSE!!!

It will be alot of fun seeing alot of juvenile behaviour suddenly stomped out when everyone realises this is no regular mmo they've entered but a mature commonsense based world where if you act moronic you will get soundly thrashed, treated like the village idiot or spending all your game time in jail cause you failed. If they try assassinating the Emperor for quick thrills they will be in for a rude awakening.

The Dungeon Master shall watch, judge and rule for it is everywhere and..nowhere.
