Looking into buying a new laptop

Post » Wed Oct 02, 2013 8:40 am

Thinking about purchasing a laptop. I want something with a decently fast processor so that the laptop is quick and efficient. I think an i5 will do just fine for my needs. I'm mainly going to be doing simple things such as web browsing, picture editing (nothing insane, just picture editing) and word processing. I want to have this PC long enough so that it will last me a couple of years.

Suggestions?

You don't need an I5 for that. An I3 will take care of those tasks. The only real issue with Laptops is gaming, if you want to game, you need a discrete video card and not CPU based graphics. If your not gaming, then all you need to be concerned about is RAM and HDD space. Get at least 4GB, although more would be better and then whatever HDD you can get for the budget you have.

Of course, screen size is important, but how big that needs to be is all on you and what you want (TV/movies at 1080 for instance)

I recently bought a laptop but have had trouble connecting it to the interent.

It has 8GB of RAM, and a 1TB Hard drive. I think it's pretty decent.

This laptop is not for gaming at all.
