I am a self-proclaimed lore-maniac and I released a small mod which has to do with http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/28684 and that got me thinking, how many of you name your characters according to the lore? And if you do, what is the name of your character? By the way, happy new year everybody.

My character's name is The Incarnate (as in the Nerevarine). So I'd say completely lore-friendly.

I usually just use Tamriel Rebuilt's name generator. Not sure exactly how trustworthy it is, but it works.

I used TR name generator for my character's surname, and the name of the main character from Bernard Cornwell's Saxon Stories series, which is derived from Scandinavian origins.

All of my characters across Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim have been a Breton named Amaund.

My name is Prisoner. Not much more lore friendly you can get.

usually if it's a male char, i just use my name Jeffreylane or Megiddo, if it's female i go with Vitas or Sativ.. the female ones kinda fit in, but hte guys dont.
