Lore Friendly Armor pack problem

Post » Sun Aug 05, 2012 1:46 pm

I got my smithing up to 70 so I could craft the Mercenary Armor but every time I go into the Glass Armor section when I scroll past the Vanilla stuff Skyrim closes, there is no "Has stopped working" window pops up or anything. It just exits the game. I believe it is Lore Friendly Armor causing it but here is my Load Order from BOSS.

Wasn't there a crash problem with the Glass Scimitar from the Wot3E mod? I heard it was fixed in a recent version, but I don't know much more than that.

What about cleaning your mod list?

Choose one:
  • Cloaks.esp
  • Cloaks - Player Only.esp
  • Cloaks - No Imperial.esp
You can delete the following mods, both are included in: hothtrooper44_ArmorCompilation.esp
  • LFArmors.esp
  • WarchiefArmor.esp
Update Weapons of the 3rd era to this version: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/12892

Critical old mods / pre CK:
  • ValsCraftingMeltdownAlpha.esp
  • MidasSkyrim.esp

I've been using Nexus Mod Manager with Skyrim which I am starting to think is a mistake, a lot of times the version available for the manager is old and I don't feel like I have as much control as I do when I install manually. On Morrowind I used MMM and Oblivion OBMM to manage mods it had a lot more options. Nexus mod manager is clearly for those who don't know the first thing about mods.

Not really, you just don't know how to use it, clearly.

You've got a few ESP files active there that just shouldn't be, not surprised you're getting crashes.

So can I not use Midas and Crafting Meltdown because they are pre CK?

I take back what I said, That sound so idiotic. For some reason I wasn't looking in the plugins tab I was looking in the mods tab.

Edit: Nevermind it says Iron. long day at work...
