Lore Gripes : V

Is it just me, or do some of the things in Skyrim seem to contradict the Lore established in the previous games? In attempting to remain as vauge as possible I will refer to the Fate of the Dwemer, the nature of the Falmer, and final fate of Kodlak Whitemane. Anyone else noticing any of this?

Yeah, I was surprised to see Falmer. I thought they were extinct, and none of their ruins had ever been found.
