I must say I was incredibly disappointed. I was a beta tester and achieved 7/10 achievements before the official launch last tuesday. I was surprised to see that xbox didnt recognize those 7. I managed to get one more tuesday night and xbox did recognize that one. My own machine showed the achievements unlocked. So I did search and read messages as others had trouble. I got xbox on the phone, I also messaged someone from bethesda and an admin everyone basically said if I downloaded my gamertag it would sync up. It DID NOT infact I lost completely the 7 achievements I earnt and now the only way to get them back is to replay the dlc which will make my 3rd or 4th time and I really didnt want to do it again. Plus the one achievement Im having trouble with is the legendary dragon one where you have to be at least level 70 for them to show up. Im at 58 and its slow going. IF I want the earlier achievements I would have to load a save from before I started because at this point ive completed the dlc again so I cant get dawnguard to start over at this level. Wish I could cos then I could at least keep adding to my level.

So be wary if your achievements arent showing up downloading gamertag anew doesnt work.

This news old pretty old actually. We knew even before Dawnguard went public that we were going to have to delete and reclaim our GamerTags because of a screw up by Microsoft.

I'm not going ot go into massive detail, that can wait for a good PM exchange. But the gist is this. When the Expansion went live, we already had the achievements from when we downloaded Dawnguard. But Microsoft didn't have the achievements up on the Achievo Servers yet, so while or Xbox profiles/GT's said that we had unlocked said Achievo, the Official version of our Profiles/GT's said that we had not yet unlocked them. So in order to make the Achievo's count, we had to delete and reclaim our GamerTags thus wiping out our Beta unlocked Achievo's for Dawnguard.

They aren't difficult to get, just time consuming. It won't be too bad of an effort to get them again.

yeah I have 3 out of the 7 i lost already and 2 other ones I only 5 more just didnt want to do it all again and I hadnt heard about that before yesterday and one i gotta get back is Auriels bow so no brainer there lol I just was disappointed thats all Ill be doing them again! Just wish I knew for sure at what level legendary dragons appear its so up in the air some say 60 some say 80 most seem to say 70 60 would be awesome cos Im at 58 1/2

Before the Beta ended, I had all ten achievements...
