I haven't played Skyrim in over a month. I turned the game on today and for some reason I've lost all the quest items (like the dragon claw keys) and spare suff I had been carrying with me in my inventory. This is my first post...is there something I can do to fix this or do I have to start the game over? Is this a common problem? Any help would be appreciated.

You sure you didn't store them somewhere? claws and such can be removed.

What quest did you start/finish when you last played? Are you doing the main story line and just went to the Thalmor party?

If so Delphine in Riverwood will have ALL your stuff in a chest.

Otherwise... stuff just doesn't vanish from your inventory.

I figured it out...my mistake. I was shopping in town and I didn't see my stuff in the buy/sell screen. I'm a little rusty...can't be taking that much of a break.
