Without giving away any spoilers of what this item is... i have lost it... i have no idea where i left it least, there are only 2 places i deposit my crap, and that's in the chest in the sleeping giant basemant, and the chest in Fort Dawnguard, and its in neither of those places...

Since i have a lot of saves, i was able to find out which save i had it in my inventory last, and what my next save since then was, and i was unable to remember what i had done with it inbetween those points in my game...

Is there anyway to regain this or any tip on finding lost items like this? I need it pretty badly...

Low probability you dropped it so you probably sold it, easy to do as it has armor bonus. You might want to check out traders you often use and see if they have it.
Yes it might have been removed from their inventory and in this case the only option is consol commands on pc.
