Lost My Way

Warning, this post contains talk of powerleveling and op items and gold glitches. This is my first time doing such things. I'm not looking to be bashed or judged, just looking for some help from the ill effects of what I've done.

I've always done stealth and bows, so I never ran into a trouble playing skyrim. Recenty I went into warrior to try it out. But, not heavy armor - because I still want to stealth sometimes and I like how it looks more and stam is used better.

I like to play a light armor spellsword (one handed, destruction, restoration.)

Skyrim has always been kind of hard in around level 15-20. My light armor hasn't leveled up enough to do much help and my one-handed is barely there. I only use one-handed instead of magic to try to help. There's no logical way to level smithing without powerleveling or training it - so getting better gear is hard, because by doing that you keep eveling up and out pacing onehanded and light armor.

So, I started a new character, did the book glitch to get enough god to try an idea. I used gold to train light armor and one handed to 50, and I brought leather and trained smithing to 50 too.

Then, I still had money left, so I went a little crazy and went up to 70 in a of them.

Then, I got excited about Chaos Damage. Without even really playing yet, got my enchanting to 80. By that point there was no reason to not go to 100, and got destruction up to make full use of Chaos Damage.

You start to see the problem here. I got massively carried away. My light armor is armored capped, dual enchanted, and I have an ebony sword that does 124 damage, 134 chaos damage and 30 health absorb.

I finally get to playing. Kill everything in one shot. I put it up to master. Still not even taking any damage that I dont absorb back. Made lower gear, still doing it.

I ruined the game for myself. Its like I might as why go glitch myself to 81 while Im at it.

I did it to myself, I know, I broke the game for myself.

Now Im not sure what to do. Starting a new character, I'll run into the same problem I had, smithing has nothing you can do but power level. I don't even think I ever want to touch enchanting again. Starting at a low level weakling again and running into my level 15-20 problem again doesnt sound fun. So I dont know if I should tran every to 50 at east and stop there. I feel horrible. Because I would like to play the game legittly to some degree like I did when I was a bow player. But, it feel like I need a small boost and I just got out of hand with it.

Im kind of conflicted right now, cause Im sitting here overpowered and my only choice is to start from point a again after all this work. cause it took hours to do the book gitch.

I feel like I lost myself and Im not sure how to regain myself. I love Skyrim, and I want to play it. But, playing it now just makes me upset at what I've done.

Please dont bash me, Im just looking for some iono help? I guess. I realize what I did was ruin it for myself, it was my first time and it was exciting to see a those high numbers and effects. I dont need to be told I ruined it for myself.

Thanks for any help.

I don't care if you powerlevel man.
You just have to start again and put some restraint on yourself. If it gets too hard at a certain point, you can go somehwere else until you are powerful enough, or temporarily lower the difficulty. Don't stay away from Enchanting or Smithing if you like these, just don't overdo it.

Make some new gear, then go and try it out. Don't stand the the forge making several sets of new gear.
