I love the scripted events <3

I love the scripted events (Such as funerals, executions, conversations, parties in the wilderness and such) when entering towns and cities and exploring. It's so awesome and creates a whole new layer of immersion in the game. Thanks Bethesda! What do you guys think?

I think scripted events are the spawn of the devil.

But it ruins the replay value.

For claiming the game had "radiant AI," holy hell is everything scripted.

Radiant AI is mostly for NPC actions and schedules, not for the events. It would be cool though, maybe in TES VI? Radiant Story on the other hand, generates random quests. I don't think Bethesda lied to us or anything, maybe you misunderstood the the term.

I entered Mankarth and encountered something unexpected. Go there for yourself if you haven't. c:

I got an annoying bug from the scripted events. The execution for example,

the executioner stands behind the prisoner and nothing happens then just NOTHING.

I watched a video where the GENERAL kicked the prisoner down and the p. got killed then but

in my game the executioner stands behind the prisoner and nothing happens , means I can′t play any further :(

any ideas to solve this ? Would rlly appreciate for any help.

Try to restart the game (start over), if that doesn't help, reinstall it :)

I don't think every event is scripted. Once I was walking over a bridge, and a dragon flew overhead, then fought and killed me. I reloaded, and the dragon was replaced by a courier. I reloded again, because I was like "wtf, where do the dragon be?" But this time I was greeted by a bear.
I suppose it may be scrited for something to happen, but not What

I reinstalled it yesterday to make it even run.

I just tried again and reloaded the save point but still nothing happens.

Here is a screenshot of the scene I′m seeing all the time while nothing happens.

And in my opinion the executioner is in a wrong position ,

in the video I saw, he stood behind the block , where the prisoners lay there heads on.

Seriously, some of you are bashing this game for scripted events when you've probably read a book or two and seen movies all your life? Hmm, ok.

Most of the dragons (apart from MQ ones) are unscripted, with their own AI and stuff :)
