Can you loose the background? I have such a hard time reading the posts because of the Dohvakin background and the grey lettering.

If you get Firefox, you can download an add-on called Adblock which lets you block ads, images, flash, etc. Then all you have to do is right-click on the background here and select 'Block image...'

You're welcome.

That's what I use. Plain white and blue is easy on the eyes.

If you are on the PS3 then, like me, you cannot change the background. Clicking on 'Change Theme' does nothing.

PS3 browser = Worst. Browser. Ever.

I think I must be the only one to like the Warrior theme. The IP board is too blindingly white I find. Same for the default Facebook page. (Stylish fixes that one)

Alternatively if you have adblock installed you can just adblock the background image.

Yeah, try getting the entire forum to change the color of their posts just for one person...

I tried the IP board once. Hissed like a vampire in direct sunlight and crawled back to my dark Warrior theme.

Heh. I guess I just like bright, clean colors.

Although, I was rather fond of my tan theme..

I used to use IP.Board, http://dl.dropbox.com/u/5459839/Chrome%20Extensions/BSF%20Tweaks2/elegance.jpg

Still using a little bit of user css (as I did with IP.Board) to get rid of some of the white and fix a button hover issue.

I don't know, it's strange. Youtube and Facebook are bright, but I'm used to them being bright. I'm way too used to these forums being dark...and I like it that way.

Proof that you are a young'un. These forums didn't always default to a horrible dark theme. The tan theme was pretty bright, and the green and gray themes weren't really what I'd call dark either (the green one was darker than the gray one, though)

When I joined this forum there were 5 or 6 themes, compared to the sparse pickings we have now...

You forgot that master rank also unlocks the ability to complain about the forums and start sentences with "When I joined the forums..."
So it is true...

:P

And yeah I miss the tan theme a lot. It was my favorite.

I used the green theme for the longest time, but then I started using the grey one and loved it.

Tan always made my eyes hurt. :(
