I LOVE THIS NEW DLC

Post » Sat Nov 17, 2012 9:57 am

In my humble opinion this Heartfire DLC is absolutely the best thing Bethesda has ever come out with. I love the house I am building and am really looking forward to seeing it upon its completion. This is the best $4.99 I have ever spent. Thank you Bethesda for making the best game even better.

Glad to hear someone else is enjoying HF as much as I am. Not sure i'd go as far as saying it was the thing they ever did, but it certainly did make for some interesting roleplay.

I absolutely adore it also. I've spent countless hours on my house already and I'm not finished yet.

It would be great if they continued to update it, but I have my doubts about that. I'd like to see new purchasable land to build a house on in the up-coming Dragonborn DLC, but that's doubtful too. One addition I'd really like to see is the ability to demolish and re-build different wings and parts of your house. Too late did I realize that I'd rather have the original entry-hall rather than the "improved" one with weapon racks and display cases.

It's definitely the first DLC I plan to get.

You'll enjoy it but you won't miss all the time you'll no longer have. Between collecting materials and lumber to build the house and it's furniture, you'll completely forget you're supposed to be a hero, off fighting dragons... And the quests become irrelevant whilst building your house :P

Love the DLC. It adresses the weakness in the game. Attaching you to people so events matter. Adds so much immersion for me

I love it too. My characters are living richer, fuller lives now. Hopefully we will see more updates like this (perhaps improved follower interactions?) that will enhance the whole game experience the way Hearthfire does.

I am so immersed in my home building I am neglecting my adventuring. I only adventure to find materials but I am having such a good time, I'll do what I want.

I did the same thing with the entry hall and I am not completely happy with my results. However, there are still many rooms I like. I made one of the skeevers in the basemant a pet. He just wanders around. I kiled all the ones who attacked. I have to remember to leave him some cheese. LOL
