it's quite hard to produce a good rpg with a good story, a good gameplay and enough liberty to let us immerse ourself in another world.
Writing a good videogame is not writing for TV or theatre or book;i'ts not giving people some poor QTE or making an interractive movie where we are only the lens camera, that's something else and the recipe is not given.
To be honest in this year after a very poor Deusix3 that miss all his objectives except the infiltration part i wasn't expecting much in forcoming RPG game.
Looking forward Skyrim, yes but not with that great expectation in order to not be desappointed.
Morrowind tribunal and blodmoon were great, Oblivion and Shivering Isles too, but they didn't gave me that little kind of magic.
Well,i must admit that i was wrong.
It's seems that you hold the grammar to write good rpg game for now and the next decade.
it's quite an Art to succeed in mixing all that and putting it in a video game.
Thanks to giving us the new Milestone in the videogame history.
There will be a before and an after Skyrim. I'm playing for about 30 hours since friday with various characters and various decisions and i'm enjoying every minutes of the best game (not only RPG) i've played for what 10 or 15 years.
It's very simple all dragon age, risen 2, two world, drakensang (even the last one) seems to have been game writed in the 90's.
I love the music which is so immersive.
I love the storyline and the way that all quest are given and mixed.
I love the graphic part and sometimes i'm feeling beeing in a Frank Frazetta's book.
I love the fighting, with a mage a warrior or a thief.
I love the Art Direction and all the little details you have put in to increase immersion.Seeing how the nature interract, watching wolfs and fox hunting, rabbits having a poo etc..
I love to go around in the world you have created.
Well i love you guys !
