I built myself a brand new badass computer and this was the first game I decided to play on it. The graphics look *stunning* and I love the storyline and gameplay. I'm eating it up, playing every spare second I can before and after work... until...

What? I can't proceed any further in this FPS.... unlesss I win a CAR RACE?? This must be a joke. I mean, if I wanted to play a racing game, I would. But I *don't* and yet here I am being held hostage in the game for the last two days because I svck at driving this [censored] buggy around a track. And of course placing isn't good enough, you have to WIN. First place.

Well after two days of driving with little improvement (because I DON"T PLAY DRIVING GAMES) I give up. It's actually putting me in a faoul mood every time I try and I am livid that I can't proceed any further in this game because of a stupid car race. Unreal. I'd like my money back please. This Grrl Gamer is *pissed*.

I don't mind the occasional driving in a game.... Half Life 2 had it.. Crysis has it... it's cool. But the whole game didn't hinge on me successfully completing a race.

Fail, Bethesda. And here I was going to buy Skyrim. Thanks for helping me make the decision.... Diablo 3 it is!

You just have to keep at it, the driving in Rage is maybe 99% easier than the driving in real car games, it has fake physics that give you total control over your vehicle, and on top of that you get infinite boost.

You'll eventually win the race, and won't have to bother with racing anymore. Though it's alot of fun.
I'd also like to point out the obvious fact that Bethesda didn't make Rage
IdSoftware made Rage, so you have no reason not to buy Skyrim because of Rage.
