Man, I'm loving this game!! I dont however like my mage. He's kinda boring. I'm only level 7 but seems that all I do with use the flame spell. Also, ive found a few cool weapons but since im a mage I dont use them. Are people having fun with thier mage? Am I doing something wrong? I spec'd in destruction!! This game is DA-BOMB!!!

Buy apprentice level spells.

You need to find places that sells spells. Since I haven't had the chance to play it yet, I can't tell you where. However, being a mage means you need variaty. Using the same spell over and over will be boring.

By some spell tomes from a dealer and find the magic that fits your play style. if you still cant then you shouldn't be a mage and should either make a new character or start using different skills

Have a melee weapon as a backup weapon when mana runs low

Expand from destruction in to something else and increase the difficulty. Conjuration is good, try bound weapon if you want to use swords. Reanimating the dead is pretty fun too. When you run in to difficult enemies you'll want to use Alteration spells, too, to protect yourself.
