1.game is updated
2.created those config file stated in steam and put it in rage/base
3.using CCC 12.3
4.created the folder in local/id software/rage , game auto created a 1gb file inside

Problems still persisting .... low fps and texture popping

processor : i5 ulv dual core 1.33ghz
gpu : intel hd 3000 and amd 6870
ram : 4gb

Catalyst 12.1a preview is still recommended driver for RAGE.

Be best to remove any rage configs, start the game with http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1360602-is-the-stuttering-ever-gonna-be-fixed/page__view__findpost__p__20522216 then remove the safe mode command then add the above.
